This piece of crystal was partially modified, but also partially natural. I worked on grinding and polishing the flat spots for hard crisp edges. The back side of the piece is essentially petrified wood bark remaining untouched. Each polished facet works like a window showing the clarity of the quartz as well as the red hairy actinolite.
This would be great as a collectors piece, or would make some interesting jewelry. Lets see what you can come up with!
