This was an experimentation using non-traditional curved facets and no rules otherwise. All facets are cut/polished by hand, and meet up properly for sharp cuts. Managed to get a very bright cut of quartz with serious light return that changes based on the angle viewed at.
There's no set horizontal or vertical orientation although there's a girdle and faux culet so that it can be permanently set. One of my most favorite gems I've had the experience to cut.
