Seraphinite is a beautiful green and silver stone, with the only known source coming from Russia. The silver has a wavy shimmer that moves with the light reflecting, also known as chantoyancy. The name seraphinite is named after angel wings which is how the rough stone itself looks. The stone has the front unpolished showing that feathery shiny structure, set in a notched bezel.
Despite being a soft stone on Moh's scale (2-2.5) it actually takes a great polish, showcased on the back side. The pendant still should be handled with care when not being worn.
The setting is handmade from sterling silver sheet, and fine silver bezel wire. Back side is cut open to a window showcasing a polished side, and accented with freehand engravings. There's 16 inches of chain attached to the pendant, for an upper chest placement.
