With an opaque look, and translucent base, this material has drastically different looks head on vs back lit. The stone is a mix dark green and red/orange plumes with a vaguely purple base. The actual rough stone I cut this from was collected by a friend in Ecuador, and sent here. Not something commercially available, and a stone that's only touched two hands before being cabbed and set in finished jewelry.
The pendant is open backed and bezel sets the stone securely in place. There's a pear shaped pink sapphire set in the top for contrast and sparkle. Modeled by my niece Lily!
About 51 mm or 2 inches bail to bottom. Comes with a 16 inch silver plated curb chain. Other chains can be purchased at an additional cost, please inquire.
