Playing around with light return on this, resulted in an innovative cut quartz gem. Polished with a flat top and three crisp facets on the bottom. The angled sides return bright white light and illuminate the stone, while the flat top and bottom act as a window. There's a few rutile and inclusions that look like trapped still life.
This is a freeform shape with two points, flat top/bottom and sharp girdle for setting. Would make a great ring or pendant.
Approximate size- 30 x 12 x 6 mm, 14 carats. Priced at $6 per carat
