Sterling silver and emerald large hoops, downward opening hinge

These hand made hoops were a personal challenge to make a fine pair of earrings in a home girl size.  The hinge opening downward is another challenge to alleviate the closure.  When worn the weight helps secure them in place.

Sterling silver 3 mm square is the material, and the diameter is about 2 3/4 inches.  Might double as a pair of bangles as well as earrings. They are set with approximately 6 carats of emeralds, 15 stones per hoop each stone being about 2.5 mm.

Needs to be worn in a piercing larger than 5 mm, would work great in a pair of eyelets in larger sizes, or worn as a stack with other weights.  Approximately 20 grams each.

The last picture is shown stacked with the Bulgarian agate set.  They were both made at the same time and fit well together.  A discount is offered if both pairs are purchased at the same time, please inquire.

This type of design could also be done in other materials smaller sizes.  Please inquire for anything custom.
