Arkansas quartz polished endcut

Brilliant clarity and negative space refraction. This is the end cut of a crystal that has been polished on the face and edges contoured maintaining the original integrity. The bottom is left untouched, leaving clear nooks and crannies to catch the light.

This was cut from an Arkansas quartz point, a location known for water clear quartz.

Naturally angled back like a faceted stone, the light reflects and refracts. Lot of depth! This was made with jewelry in mind, and has a sharp edge to be set in prongs, bezels or whatever.
